Consultation Service
The Consultation Service supports Healthy Communities Partnerships and Regional Networks by providing expert consultants to deliver on-site session. Our Consultants facilitate sessions on a wide variety of topics, including but not limited to:
- Community planning
- Partnership development and coalition building
- Community assessment
- Strategic and program planning
- Policy development
- Building environmental supports
- Professional development topics
A Consultant will be matched with you according to your specific needs, their expertise and availability. Your Consultant will work with you and your partners to plan your session, develop an agenda, deliver the session and provide follow-up support.
The HHRC’s consultation and coaching services are based on a cost-shared arrangement. The Community Partnership or Regional Network is responsible for all travel and other expenses, while the HHRC is responsible for consultant’s fees. This arrangement allows the HHRC to provide support for all communities across Ontario. Where travel costs are particularly high (e.g., to the north), a cost-sharing arrangement with the HHRC is possible.
