The Heart Health Resource Center (HHRC) anticipates and meets the needs of public health agencies and their communities in chronic disease prevention programming.

The HHRC was created in 1993 and currently supports the 37 community partnerships of the Ontario Heart Health Program – Taking Action for Healthy Living (OHHP-TAFHL). Community partnerships work locally to prevent cardiovascular disease and other chronic diseases such as Type-2 diabetes, stroke and some forms of cancer.

HHRC provides support to Heart Health Coordinators and their Community Partnerships through Coaching and Consultation, Training Workshops and Events. and Tools and Resources. Sign up for our listserv, contact us with your questions or fill out a service request form to request coaching or consultative services.

The HHRC is an initiative of the Ontario Public Health Association and is funded through the through the Government of Ontario, Ministry of Health Promotion. The HHRC is a member of the Ontario Health Promotion Resource System.
